The Surgeon’s Domus
This Roman house (II century A.D.) was hidden below Piazza Ferrari.
The house, with its "taberna medica" has revealed a polychrome mosaic and the largest collection of medical instruments from the Roman world plus mortars, scales, measures and vases for the preparation and conservation of medicines.
