Naturalistic Museum of the Onferno Reserve

Gemmano - Onferno

The completely renovated old parish church of Santa Colomba houses this naturalistic museum, which is equipped with the most avant-garde multimedia technology. A series of glass cases hold examples of birds, reptiles and mammals that live in the reserve and in the Rimini area. The reserve boasts wonderful habitats such as the rocky erosion furrows of the Ripa della Morte or the oak woods of Selve, all of which are rich in mediterranean flora and fauna.

from Rimini take provincial road: SP 81 to Coriano and then provincial road SP 18 to Gemmano


the entry fee to visit the cave already includes admission to the museum


The museum is open on the days of visiting the caves.

from January to March, visit start time, Sunday 11:30 am, 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm
from April to 15th June, visit start time, Saturday 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm; Sunday 10.00 am, 11.30 am, 3.00 pm, 4.30 pm
from 16 to 30 June, Monday and Friday at 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm; Saturday and Sunday at 10.00am, 11.30am, 3.00pm, 4.30pm
Extraordinary opening Saturday 2nd June, visits at 10.00 am, 11.30 am, 3.00 pm, 4.30 pm
and 6.00pm. Possible additional visits 10.45am, 12.15pm, 3.45pm, 5.15pm and 6.45pm.
