The Button Museum

The collection, with over 8500 buttons, is divided in to 3 sections. The first section has about 5000 buttons linked with Italy’s political, social and fashion history in the 1900’s, with references to world history as well. The second section includes about 1300 buttons made in over 50 different materials. The third section has 110 panels with around 1000 buttons from the 18th and 19th centuries, true works of art from the days in which elegant buttons made with precious materials were marks of distinction.
Admission at visitors' discretion.

Entrance fee: for individuals free offer. For groups from 10 to 15 pax € 5.00, from 15 to 30 pax € 10.00; more than 30 pax € 20.00.


Not accessible to disabled guests.


Situated in the historical centre. 


Wintertimes: 15th September - 31st May
Summertimes: 1st June - 14th September
