    Cà Brigida Oasis

    Verucchio

    The oasis is situation in the village of "Il Doccio", in the Municipality of Verucchio in the Marecchia valley. It extends for 17 hectares along the banks and valley floor of the Rio Felisina. It consists of woods, cultivated fields, areas of reforestation, and a farmhouse with a park. In large part, the oasis is also crossed by the stream but also boasts natural springs and traces of ancient settlements that belonged to the Villanovan civilisation of Verucchio.
    The local fauna is characterized by roe deers, porcupines, badgers, birds of prey, amphibians and reptiles.
    This bequest comes from the late lamented member Gustavo Voltolini.
     
    The Oasi is one of more than 100 WWF reserves.

    how to get there:
    located in the middle of the Marecchia Valley, between Verucchio and the Republic of San Marino. 
    It can be reached by provincial road SP 258 Marecchiese and the provincial road SP 14 Santarcangelo - Ponte Verucchio.
