Teaching farm. Società Agricola Fungar

Coriano

The teaching farms provide opportunities to get to know farms and agricultural environments, the origin of food products and animal life for schools, families and groups of adults. For children, such encounters are important occasions for learning and mental growth.

The “open farm” initiative takes place every May throughout the Emilia Romagna region and offers guided tours to vineyards, livestock farms, olive presses, wine growers, forests, pastures as well as tasting of local produce and demonstrations of how work is done on a farm and in various workshops related to agriculture.
"Open farms" have provided insights to many people for more than 13 years. In 2011, the events were still more varied and much in demand with individual visitors, families and groups.

Fungar participates in the “open farm” initiative every year in May.

  • Greenhouse growing of mushrooms, with grapes, olives, a grove and ornamental plants around, farmyard animals, Romagnolo chickens

How to get there: Leave the A14 at the Riccione exit and turn right. Take the road to the right at the roundabout and follow the Via dell'Ecologia. Go straight on after the crossroads with Via Gradara, and then go in Via Bruscheto when you come to the next roundabout. There are signs pointing to the farm.
