- Fish market
Santarcangelo di Romagna
Housed in premises that were constructed between 1829 and 1834, the aim of this building, which was commissioned by the council of the time, was to offer the nearby fishing fleets the possibility to take their catch to the small town of Santarcangelo and thus offer a cheap foodstuff to its poorer inhabitants. Entrance to the large building is via a 19th-century cast-iron gate and inside it has six Istrian stone stalls where fish was sold.
