Albereto
A small rural village surrounded by lush greenery with exemplary fortifications. Recent and precise restoration work has made it one of the architectural jewels of the seignory.
Mentioned as early as 1233, the castle that is of Roman origin, was consolidated by Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta around the mid-15th century. With a rectangular layout, marked by steep scarp town walls and circular towers, it is crossed by a single road that leads to a panoramic terrace overlooked by the bell tower.
